My little one (she's 6) loves to help in the business - and really feel like she's doing something... not just that Mommy is giving her something to keep her occupied. She helps me organize the office and decide what can go and what stays. She helps me with my web site... I'll show her different things I'm doing - like graphics I'm looking at, and she gives me feedback. Before a local networking event, she'll help me organize my marketing collateral (fliers, business cards, post cards, etc...), and she helps me get a brief case ready. These seem like small tasks, but she really enjoys them - and she's learning what it's like for Mom to do work that she loves. We talk while we're working, and I'm able to teach her about why I love what I do, and why I do what I do. If you ask her, she'll tell you that "Mommy talks to a lot of people all day long because she teaches women all over the world how to build a business." LOL!!
