Passions That Pay

I am very excited to announce that every Friday at noon EST starting from February 8th, I will be hosting an internet radio show at BlogTalkRadio

Every week I will have a guest who will talk about all aspects of finding and monetizing your passion.

My first show will be with self-esteem coach Tonya Ramsey and we will be discussing why you need a solid emotional foundation before embarking on finding and working your passion and how to go about gaining the confidence and self esteem necessary to make the changes in your life.

Whether your path will encompass a career change or starting your own business or even exploring your passion through a hobby, without a firm emotional base it will be so much harder to overcome any obstacles in your path. Making changes in your life can put your confidence, your beliefs and your general sense of worth to the test therefore it is necessary to put a structure in place that will help you to meet head on all the challenges that will come your way.

To get you started here are some questions to think about.

1. When a challenging situation comes up for you, what is your first reaction?

2. What strategies have you used in the past to successfully overcome a difficulty?

3. How hard do you find it to ask for help and do you have a support system?

4. When faced with a difficult decision, how do you go about finding the best solution?

5. How do you view failure?

6. In times of stress, do you tend to rise to the occasion or go to pieces?

7. Do you find time for self-care?

8. How much negative self talk is going on in your head?

9. Is the glass half full?

10. Do you believe you are worthy of success, whatever that word means to you?

These questions will start to help you to identify your strengths and weaknesses.
