“It is better to create than to be learned, creating is the true essence of life”
Barthold Georg Niebuhr
Today on my blogtalkradio show, I am interviewing Lael Johnson, a creativity coach.
Creativity is vital at all stages of entrepreneurship – from the originality of the business idea right through to ingenious marketing and publicity. So how do we foster the creativity that will set us apart from the rest? Here are a few suggestions to get those creativity juices going:
Journal – play with it, have imaginary conversations, freewrite.
Brainstorm – don’t censure yourself – just throw every idea out there as you never know what will spark the next great idea in you or others
Artistic pursuits – whatever you genre, getting involved with the whole creative process will spill into other areas of your life.
Creative problem solving – come up with as many different solutions to solve every day problems – the more practice you get at this the more you will start to think outside of the box in your business
Tune in to the radio show at Noon est or listen to the archives to find out more.
Also try these two books to help you think differently.
