It is a common experience for entrepreneurs to come across at least one person in their circle who think they are crazy for wanting to set up on their own. Imagine then what it would be like if the business you are setting up is also one that will make some people look at you as if you have grown three heads. My guest on my Blogtalkradio show, The Passion Project is Edie Weinstein-Moser organizes Cuddle parties and has had more than her fair share of odd reactions when she explains what she does. Join us tomorrow, Friday 10th April to find out more about how to handle these negative reactions followed by a round table discussion on the subject with Lael Johnson , Judith Stephens , Marc Norris and Jenn Brockman
How have you dealt with the naysayers in your life? Have you ever caused controversy with your business? Please share your experiences in the comments section.

One thing that Edie mentioned as far as coming up against negativity, was that there are always going to be people who don’t accept what you’re doing.
Very profound.
The truth is - there ARE going to be people in your life that don’t accept what you’re doing - whether it’s because they’re pissed off at themselves for not having the courage to step out on the limb like you are, or because they’re unconsciously afraid of success - whatever the reason.
What we need to do, is stay conscious; stay present - keep moving forward doing what we know deep down is right for us.
And no, this is not always easy - but that’s another great reason to have a strong support system in your midst

Jenn - a VERY good point, my friend. A realization that you cant please all the people all the time will help to put it all into perspective.
