The big disadvantage of having moved so much is that I have left so many friends behind. I am still friends with the little girl I met when I was 5 and try to get with her when I go back to the UK and I have a few others from my childhood but again it is at most a once a year get together. We are actually gearing up for our monthly poker night tomorrow night - and I can't wait. Getting together with these women is amazing. Some of us are moms, some of us are entrepreneurs, some of us work for someone else, some of us are single... but we're all women, and we all go through the same types of things. It's so wonderful to have a group of women that relate to exactly what you're going through, who can lend you support - or who can just laugh with you when you need one of those really deep cleansing laughs.
