1. Learn something new.
2. Connect with 5 new people.
3. Do something that will make you laugh out loud.
4. Call someone that you love.
5. Discover a new blog.
6. Plan an activity you really look forward to.
7. Block out time to think of all the wonderful things in your life and to feel gratitude.
8. A project that can be completed this week – that feeling of accomplishment is priceless.
9. Exercise (yeah, yeah I know but it really is something we have to do – try to find at least a somewhat enjoyable activity that will have you breathing hard)
10. Help someone.
Let me know if you have managed to find time for all these things this week – I will report back myself next Sunday.

Katherine,
If I had a chance to add to your list, I would find a way to put hugs on there!!

Katherine,
Very nice list. Knowledge is power so never stop learning – great!
I like #7 because it is in reflection that appreciation can be the catalyst for new things in our lives.
#8 -I would like to add – accomplish your “hardest” task first thing in the morning…that will really get your day moving in the right direction.
Speaking of #9 (for me it goes along with #8) I do this first thing in the morning. I feel SO wonderful once I am done and then I feel better for the rest of my day.
#10 another favorite – having a giving heart you will be receiving more than you realize.
Thanks Katherine! A very nice way to start the week!
In Appreciation,
Teresa Morrow

Sally, I would KNOW that my life was way out of balance if I had to schedule in hugs! With 3 children, hugs are abundant in my life – and I am sure the same is true in yours!
Teresa , thank you for your thoughtful feedback.

I love 1,7, 9 the most. I really need to work on getting my daily exercise, as well as learning new things. It is always nice to see short lists like this that make you think.

Number 7 is great–it’s easy to forget to slow down and express some gratitude, but it feels so good when you do! Two others I definitely need to do next week are #2 and #9. I’ll let you know how it goes!
Thanks for the great post!

Many of the things that are on your list I do naturally. I believe they make me a more functional and happy person!
